Wasps
Contrary to popular belief wasps generally do not go out of there way to try to sting you, they only react aggressively when feeling threatened or disturbed. Unlike bees, wasps do not leave their stinger in you after you have been stung and are capable of stinging a person multiple times. Wasps are attracted to flowers, plant life and outdoor eating areas with food crumbs/spills and uncovered garbage bins. Properties with more insects and spiders tend to see more wasps, because the insects provide mature and developing wasps a food source. Wasps like to build their nests in house eaves, attic spaces, decks, barbecues, playgrounds, garages and overhangs. Removing these nests safely can make your next backyard barbecue a more comfortable and relaxing experience.
